Andal Science Academy is a unique and outstanding boys’ secondary school designed to provide our students with excellent science education, using the most modern IT instructional methods, within a secure and conducive, first class boarding environment. The objective of the school is to produce disciplined and responsible students as future leaders with excellent intellectual and moral precepts and a strong commitment to communal and societal values and traditions. To this end, emphasis is placed on exploiting, nurturing and developing their individual talents and personalities physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually, all, within the value beliefs and rules of the school.
The Motto of the school—ASPIRE TO INSPIRE—accurately captures the essence of what the school stands for—to make the students aspire for higher ideals and goals through hard work and diligence today so that they can, as role models, inspire others tomorrow.

STRUCTURES 1.1
Andal Science Academy is situated along Gwarzo Road Kofar Kabuga Quarters in Kano Municipality. The Academy complex comprise of structures housing the Administrative section, Library, Staff rooms, staff rest rooms, Laboratories, Sick bay, Classrooms, Dinning hall and kitchen. The two storey block of 4 Halls of hostel accommodation is fully equipped with toilets and bathrooms. At the centre court of the Academy are the basketball court, five a side football field and table tennis bay for student games. The Academy is served by two power generating sets—a 263KVA Rolls Royce and a 100KVA Mercedes generators. To complement the public water supply system, the Academy has sunk boreholes to meet the water needs of the Academy.

ADMINISTRATION 1.2
Andal Science Academy is a limited liability company registered under the Companies Act of 1968. The day to day administration of the Academy is vested on the principal, who is assisted by his vice, senior management staff and student officers. The Governing council of the Academy is responsible for the formulation of policy in such areas as Admissions, staff recruitment, capital expenditure, disciplinary issues and development planning.

PARENTS TEACHERS ASSOCIATION 1.3
At Andal Science academy, we recognize the critical importance of the synergy between the Academy authority and parents in the task of educating and molding the character, attitudes and behavior of the students. The PTA is an essential organ of the Academy administration and an important platform for parents, the school authority and teachers to exchange ideas and proffer solutions to the various problems that may arise from time to time. The PTA meets at regular intervals.
